Well...the story is kind of quirky...but what isn't with our life...ha ha. My adopted brother was injured in Iraq; so was Michael. I was injured in Germany, while on active duty...I traveled back and forth to San Antonio and Germany, as I me-boarded from the Army. I became friends with Mama Rose, Michael's mom. A trip to Galveston Bay was organized by the wonderful Janis, for the wounded soldiers. My mom, brother and I attended, and so did mama Rose and Michael. We got to see so much. But while at the beach, Michael and I instantly became friends...and talked and talked and talked...we just had so many aspects in our lives that were parallel...not to mention that I didnt even notice that he was wounded at first...ha ha. We continued our support for one another when we returned to San Antonio...and eventually fell in love. It was very new for me, since I had never been "IN- LOVE" before....and thus, our story began....and that is why we are having a BEACH THEMED wedding....we were going to have it in Galvaston...but the latest hurricane moved the beach to Houston...ha ha. Luckily, I dragged Michael to a Bridal Extravaganza, where we won the venue and reception where it is currently being held.......
The wedding will be Sunday, June 14, 2009. We ask all guests to please arrive no earlier than 6 pm but by 6:30 pm....the wedding is at 7:00 pm. Directions: from Interstate 35: Weidner Road exit; go east on Weidner approximately 1.2 miles, Granberry Street will be on the left; follow until it dead ends to the wedding venue...there will be an announcement sign, parking area; next to the wedding guide offices.
THE WEDDING: is is beach themed....colors are Red and Royal Blue;we took the time of the year into consideration, so we set the time for later in the evening. We also are very laid back with the clothing attire. To make this a great success we ask that attire be considerately respectful. Sundresses, and sandels for females; shorts and shirts and sandels for males are examples of beach attire: PLEASE NO SWIMSUITS OR DISTASTEFUL CLOTHING!!...our family unity wedding ceremony does include our CHILDREN. The reception is at the same location...it is indoors, so we can cool off from the outdoor wedding ceremony. The reception is from 8 pm-11 pm.
We will have plenty of non-alcoholic drinks but there will be BUD LIGHT & MARGARITAS at the reception:
keep this is mind, if you are bringing children. Also, the event is secured with Bexar County Sherrif Personnel....so mind your P's and Q's!
We are lovers of a diverse menu, so we will have Greek salads and 3 main Italian course dinner, with cakes after. There is also macarroni and cheese and chicken tender plates, for the children, if you replied for them. It is Buffet style.

After both of us being married before but never having an actual "WEDDING", we are looking so forward to our special day.
